Originally, the plan was for Hogwarts Legacy to make its debut as a cross-gen game, with PS4 and Xbox One versions to release on the same as their PS5 and Xbox Series X counterparts.
Hogwarts Legacy made its debut on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X this past February, smashing sales records and earning critical acclaim to become indisputably one of 2023's biggest new game releases. Following numerous delays, open world Harry Potter action-RPG Hogwarts Legacy is finally coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles on Friday, May 5.
